- KK Procession - April each yr- students dress up as famous figures from the University's past- wonderful to watch.
- Go to the Newsagents by the Westport in South Street, the Irish man in there is SOOO friendly! You will be treated like a king... or queen, depending on your sex obviously. The sweeties here are great aswell!
- the "do not toch this or you will get a disease" graffiti in the playground
- There's a castle, cathedral (both ruined) and the oldest university in Scotland.
- Come to St. Andrews during the Dunhill Cup and you're bound to see some famous folk including Sean Connery. If you're planning on being a student here don't walk over the PH on North Street outside Sallies Chapel. Patrick Hamilton was burned at the stake here and you'll supposedly fail you exams if you disrespect his initials. Also at the same place look up on the wall above the arch and see his face in the wall! We also have all sorts of other traditions : Raisin weekend were you get academic parents they get you very drunk and then get you up at the crack of dawn the next day to be dressed up and taken to Sallies Quad for a massive foam fight- worth watching if you're in town( around Nov. time) The Kate Kennedy parade is also worth seeing and is in April.
