• St Austell College- never, never do a course there. There are no facilities for students, just a small coffee bar,a canteen you can't get served in or afford the food and nowhere to go. All you get is fire drills, mad little kids from local schools and lots of people walking around in suits looking down their noses at you. And the courses are crap and the teachers look pissed off all the time. Go to Truro college they actually seem to like students and it looks so much better on your CV. Most people from St Austell go to Truro college because the local college is so crap

• St. Austell is beong demolished don't come here it's rubbish. Nothing is being rebuilt just knocked down.

• TOWN how can it really establish itself when all they introduce is another shoe shop or travel agents,phone shop,estate agents or even a charity shop not that i,m against them, but be real the youth and parents of today all they do is go Truro or Plymouth for what it cost in petrol they will save on there shopping.Come on council or whoever get a life think profit.

• if i said i hate st austell, its boring, degrading and an insult to cornwall then i think u get the picture lol
• after pub kick out on weekends its best if ur off the streets or home...drunken violence is now a major factor in this town.

• St.Austell College ( now Cornwall College , St.Austell). Dont go there, its absolutely the pits. Go to Truro. Should be renamed St.Aweful College
• too many council houses. st austell has become a place too live, but not much else.theres nothing to do, no where to shop, and no entertainment.
• we all no that bodmin is the "drugged up towny" capital of the world!!
• Single mother's everywhere, unemployment and lack of wages very shit quality of life
• There aint much to do, infact there is NOTHING fun to do unless your a tourist
• Past the negative attitude of the youth and the confused architecture its a good place to live beach parties to the south make brilliant alternatives to poor clubs Meva roundabout being slowly renamed Mc donalds roundabout is appalling somebody blow that place off the map!

• St Austell college - around the worst college in cornwall. The amount of time it is gonna take for penrice school to build a six form
• Star Cars! Never get a taxi from them, they are the most expensive around!
• most of the other people.
• The amount of ugly women in St. Austell
• so very far away from any football ground of league status
• Too many shoe shops
• No jobs
• It's not a good place to go for entertainment.
• Too many tourists in the summer, and prices start to rise during the summer months. McDonalds keeps getting planning permission refused.
