  • If you stand outside of the pharmacy/bakers oven in the Market Square, and look at the statue of Ollie Cromwell, move about to you left or right, you can actually make Ollie Crom's pointing finger point at the Golden Lions bottom!! Hours of amusement! Also WADSWORTHS - an Aladins Cave of alcohol - Hundreds of wierd and wonderful minatures - to very rare whiskeys. Great selection of wines, whiskeys, beers and spirits - good for just a browse. Cheese Shop (near the bridge).
  • good auction rooms with little stalls library is good for vids and cds etc. Swimming pool is small but tidy with a cosy bar and caff, good low key sporty stuff for kids and health nutters St Ivo sports field Raptor centre nearby, lots of owls Very pretty views around Houghton Huge floods Monday market day and huge bank holiday markets
  • all of my mates and the people once you get to know them and the sk8 scine
  • The 15th Century bridge across the Great Ouse
  • It is better than Huntingdon It is better than Ramsey It is better than St.Neots It is better than Nerdsville i.e Cambridge
  • The only decent thing about St Ives is the fact that it's near The Manor (aka Green Knowe in Lucy Boston's books) the oldest inhabited house in Britain, at Hemingford Grey. By all means go, just don't expect to be anything other than bored stiff by everything that surrounds it.
  • The River area very quaint
