Corner eateries, quick bites and the local chippy
You can tell us more about St Ives.
Cheap Food
- Anyone hear of Delish, on East street? Excellent food!!
- Bridges has gone years ago and is now the 'Surf & Turf' is good. Cafe Rio is now 'The Riverside' and is untried. 'Cyprus Kitchen' is best for kebabs and stuff. Best food locally is at 'The Cock' at Hemingford Grey.
- well gotta say a lot of the people leaving comments here long past their sell by date, ketch closed down years ago, since then another one has opened in its place, dont take my word , all i hear after the music box is " AWESOME" THAT NORMALLY REFERS TO THEIR "MESSY BURGER" must say i tried their " Chicken Tikka Naan with their own chilli sauce abd that really was awesome, everyone i know only go there, tnx
- chicken licken
you know its right
- The best place to eat a good fry-up has to be the Local Cafe.
I like Bridges for a nice meal out - good food, good service.
- THE SNACK VAN ON STIVES IND EST LOVELY FOOD.
- Haywain near the rainbow does pretty decent cheap meals!
- the tap room is a great new place it has a local legand working there jimmy stoner.the bar snacks are really nice
it is just right for a beer before clubbing.
- The only place in st ives that is good to eat is Bridges restaurant on bridge street unlike every where eles the waiting staff are smart, friendly and attentive. The food is Fresh and tasty. The music is modren and decor is light and clean.
- The Info on the Restaurants, Cafes and Clubs is sooooo out of date. St Ives is an up and coming place now!!! gone is Ketch Belly and Binz and I am Very Glad to say Connies has been gone for TWO YEARS!! Replaced by a Fantastic Restaurant Cafe Rio! If You haven't tried it you don't know what your missing.
- Nearly all the places on this site have now closed or been refurbished. Ketch was prosecuted for hygiene reasons and is now closed.
Connie's is now Cafe Rio, it serves delicious food. The Little Cyprus has been closed for years and is now a restaurant called Bridges.
- Well ketch is dead and chicken lickin is doing a roaring trade, well worth it at the end of a good night out.
- Ketch 22 has closed down & if you read the papers then you'll know why.
- Munchkins- need i say ne more?
- You can't beat the friendly welcome of "yes boss" and "hello my friend" that you get in CHICKIN' LICKIN' (St. Ives chicken and chips). Avoid KETCH unless you want "Ketch Belly"!!!
- The World Famous Chicken Licken, the best place in town for all your fast food requirements, open all hours, spotlessly clean, great value and does the best kebabs in town. Also run the excellent Cafe next door, best breakfasts in town.
- Chicken Lickin, you know it makes sense.... or Ketch if ur feeling risky
- Do we have any choice other than Indian in St Ives????? There is a thought for all you business adventures start up a nice english resturant!!
- Ketch is unbeatable in all honesty.... Although St.Ives kebabs or "chicken licken "(as its still known..... another rumoured tax issue) is starting to compete proper.
- Little Cyprus - The meze (min. 2 people) loads of different dishes for a reasonable price. Go on a plate smashing night!
Kushiara - best indian rest. (Waiters will only allow a certain amount of drunken ribbing and rude manners before they eject you - be warned!)
- Whoever says that Ketch22 has the best Kebabs in Cambridgeshire must have the taste buds of an Alsation - they are foul kebabs!!! Best Place for KEbabs is Bunters in Huntingdon - the ONLY good thing about HUntingdon!
- Good northern indian on the main st.
Another next to the Rainbow
- Connies once again, it is also a restraunt. Take aways, for the best kebabs within cambridgeshire go to Ketch 22, but do not be able to pick it up as they fill them to overflowing with a wicked chilly sauce
- KETCH-22!!!!
- indian chinice itallian fish and chip places open till late
- Ketch -22 OK and do delivery
Montaz Indian Restaurant - does MASSIVE baltis for 5.00 (and 4.50 if takeway!) - also deliver
