- The TapRoom has some pretty good music on Thursday nights (although they do have Matt Harvey a bit too often - he's good, but nearly EVERY week?)
- THE BIGGEST BAND EVENT OF THE YEAR IN STIVES IS THE MUSIC FESTIVAL SUNDAY JULY 9TH . ARRANGED BY THE MUSICBOX IT WILL BE AS USUAL ON WARNERS PARK AND IS A MASSIVE DAY.
- IT SEEMS THE WIERD PEOPLE FROM THE LEL HAVE BEEN IN TOWN AGAIN.
THE LEL IS THE ONLY EMPTY VENUE IN ST.IVES AT THE MOMENT AND AS FOR SLAGGING THE MUSICBOX OFF WHY IS THAT RAMMED AND THE LEL DEAD EVERY WEEK. WE HAD OUR HEN PARTY AT THE BOXA ND HAD A GREAT TIME WITH DANE BOWERS WHO WAS DJING.
THE LAD IN CHARGE WAS REALLY KOOL AND GAVE US FREE BUBBLY AND COW GIRL HATS.
THAT LOT MORE THAT YOU GET AT THE LEL. O YER WHY DO THEY KEEP CHANGING THE NAME IF IT NOT SO CRAP.
- warners park played host to the st.ives music festival . top local promotor moonie from the music box put this day together and aleast 5000 people came out in the sun to see 10 local band includinng big 10 boogie nights and the phul collins tribute - wot a show this was.
- FLOODS TAVERN on the broadway has over the last two years become a very popular music venue, with the likes of BLUE HAZE (www.bluehazerocks.co.uk, a VERY popular rock and blues 4 piece band),OR WOT, SISKIN and many more very good quality bands, with a fantastic atmosphere and VERY good beer! a late license on thurs, fri and sat nights. A regular JAM session is held there on a tuesday night also, with music most weekends and a regular karaoke session on a thurs night.
