High tea and a sticky bun

Cafes and Coffee Shops
- Porthmeor Cafe just above the beach. It's a great place to have a bite to eat and watch the surfers. The Lifeboat Inn's nice for a steak. Seafood Cafe is overpriced. Peppers (pasta) is the place the locals (not the loveys) like cos it's reasonable and the food's good.
- If you are serious about your coffee - do your self a favour and try the great coffee at The Yellow Canary Cafe in Fore Street St Ives. The coffee is out of this world served with homemade biscotti in a great atmosphere. Family run business since 1972 now with a contemporary feel.
- Porthminster Beach Cafe, Porthmeor Cafe & Porthgwidden Beach Cafe to name but a few
- Porthmeor coffee shop under the Tate Gallery does really bad cappuccino & espresso. Their cooked brekkies are ok though - not greasy & eggs how you like them - even poached.
