- Go in September when the festivals on and your spoilt for choice
- Barney the window cleaner - likes his beer and has been known to take eighteen hours cleaning one set of pub windows; well, that's how long his ladder was propped up outside for !
- Blind Lloyd plays organ by the Lifeboat Station. Some people used to chuck stones in his hat so it sounded like change. That's not nice. Give him some money instead. - There are quite a few, but all offer quality entertainment for free!- or a few pennies! Watch out for the percussion band that performs on the Harbour wall and outside the lifeboat house- they fob you off with the same songs for half and hour.
- The always are some around town but we are lucky in that we do not have a problem.
