The Best Things in St Neots, Cambridgeshire*

If you're around, be sure to check these things out

You can tell us more about St Neots.

The Best Things
  • The riverside park on a sunday warm afternoon. Live band plays nears the car park.
  • the golden as it was
  • nothing but f i had to chose the bowling alley
  • The People, we are a rare breed!
  • St Neots has no redeeming features whatsoever, except one. It has an *ahem* "masage parlour". The only one in Cambridgeshire. Let's get this right - the only *ahem* "massage parlour" in Cambridgeshire is in this cesspit of a town. Not Peterborough, not cambridge, not even Huntingdon. But here. St Neots. Go figure.
  • nothing as st.neots is........ not that good!
  • A whole street full of shops that nobody needs, but everyone buys from...apart from Woolworths, of course.
  • jacks beard
  • Longsands sixth form
  • erm....no there are good points, the skateboard ramp is good, so are some of the pubs
  • A variety of shops and loads of supermarkets.
  • The Museum (New Street) makes the best of what was an essentially uninteresting little market town. Good for an hour on a rainy day The "Handyman" (High Street" A real old-style ironmongers. Want 2 nails and one small pulley-block? No problem ---- and you get a traditional brown paper bag. The bill is added up in pencil on an old envelope by a friendly guy in a brown shop overall. Advice free and copious.
  • First there is the abundance of pubs (rumour has it it was once in the guiness book of records for the most number of pubs per population). Unfortunatley this has done nothing for the quality of them (see worst thing in St. Neots).
  • And second, the most famous thing that St. Neots has to offer is a Princess Diana look-a-like who also just happens to double as the local strip-a-gram. I can personally vouch for her facial likeness to the better known Diana, but as I've only seen the St. Neots version in the nude I'm not too sure about the rest. The resemblence to the Princess Diana is such that even the Daily Mirror and Sun did a piece on her a few years ago (or was it because she was willing to flash her breasts!!) But she has now fled to the United States to avoid newspapers sticking their noses in to wreck her life, after her recent appearance in a film which portrays the life of Princess Diana through her difficult patch with Charlie.
