The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- Some people are ranting about the School, it's just a school!!
Some of the kids are arseholes some aren't.
The architecture through most of the school is amazing as is its 400 year history
Some of the Kids end up all right, run dance record labels, like smarties and candy, Were at Shoom in 89
- It's not mostly local kids that go to the public school, it's foreigners! The kids still walk round like they own the place and any trouble they cause the local kids get blamed for it because everyone thinks they're angels, well they're fucking not!
- Why the downer on the school? It's not so bad! Unlike many public schools, St Bees doesn't take 'posh' kids; most pupils are local, and there's no attempt to segregate them from the rest of the community - sports and cultural fixtures are arranged with other schools in the area, and the atmosphere is very down-to-earth.
- St.Bees is probably best know for being the start of the coast to coast walk. During the warmer months a stead string of walkers passes through on their way to Robin Hoods bay. Some do it back wards and finish in St.Bees, these walkers can always be spotted by their bedraggled appearance and if in groups their hatered for one another!
