- The Kev run. 16-20;s driving pepped up Fords with wierd stickers and huge spoilers. They race around the straight part from the bridge to town and turn around in north beach. Occaisonly dredging up the Valdies (Val de Terres, aka Very Steep Road) The Kev Run was started by a man called Kev according to local legend...dispute still rages as to who the hell he actually was.

- The beaches are superb in the summer. All the coasts have their own appeal: On the South coast, climb steep cliff paths to fins rocky inlets with total privacy. In the North try your hand at windsurfing & in the West see the beautiful locals strut their stuff & lunch at the Rockmount Inn at Cobo.
- THEATRE GROUPS - Studio Theatre - a small venue, in a former school workshop block, but there's always something being rehearsed or performed. The building is also home to Youth Theatre (dedicated to bringing youngsters thru). The Guernsey Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Club (GADOC)is by far the most "established" group on the island with several hundred members. The Amballes Players & St Stephens Players also perform on the island.
