The Best Things
- slower than london
- the train station and buses so you can piss off out of this hell hole or park or sea wall
- I grew up for 11 years in Stanford-le-hope (until we moved to Gloucestershire!) and it was never that bad. A good hard working friendly lot. Always something to do.
- The amount of pubs in the area
- uh..huh-huh-huh..you said 'butts' uh-huh-huh-huh
- The Raj's flexible bar hours.
- I love that damned place,you just dont realise do you,come to Stonehaven near Aberdeen,then you'll realise!
- Wot?
- Nothing!!!! Not even East Tilbury is good no more, Fat Sue don't serve no more!!!
- the old youth group
- the friendly village atmosphere
- it has a train station so you can get out!
- Knowing everybody.
- Drugs
- you know nearly everyone.

- its not too far from southend
- gable hall V Hassenbrooke fights
- Huge drunken parties at Andrew Snow's house on regular occasions (When his parents are out) and the tasty barbeques that always result in Mog throwing up.
- If you grew up there you are infected with a strange nostalgia for a pretty boring kind of a town. On visits I often find myself fondly remembering snogging beside the portaloos.
