- Local band; Hope Addicts, who all come from Stanford-le-hope, are an up and coming band. The band consists of Greg Smith - Vocals and Rythym Guitar,
Paul McSoley - Bass Guitar, Paul Smith - Lead Guitar, Kevin Wood - percussion, Karen Jackson - Keyboard. The band have been together for approximately 2 years and have played at many different places around Stanford le hope, ie Catcraker,The Village Inn, The Billet, The Stanford Music Festival, The Wooden Hut. Also appeared in Rainham Village Faye, Dagenham 999 Fayre, Brighton Clubs and nightclub at Wardour Street, London. Music is varied but has developed from The Beatles, Oasis, The Kinks to name a few.
