Cheap Food
- good cafe in lower street near proposed skate park. Also new bistro49 in lower street.
- lams takeaway has got to be the best chinese takeaway in stansted . Always tasty and hot mmmm.
- Bombay Butler in Station Road, excellent!
- Stansted is indian city !!!! We have the Royal on Chapel Hill (small but freindly...& cheap) The Bombay Butler by teh train station, & one in teh precint (with a rather nice chinease not to far away)
Most of the pubs that do food are alright, but the cock is the only one that dose home cooked grub & a roast dinner on a sunday lunchtime to die for!
The Old Bell is alright food too..... if you can put up with mindless irish & scottish air hotesses getting more drunk that you ever though possible, shrilling as only irish & scottish hosties know how!!
