- Steeple Claydon has one of the very best local firework displays on bonfire night. The displays are electronically fired to music and the displays are designed to a topical theme, changing each year. The display is fired by a team of experienced designers and firers, who have been trained in this fascinating art. Some of the themes over the years have included "The Dam Busters", "The celebration of Mallard (setting the fastest run by a steam engine)", "The Landings on the Moon", "Star Wars", and this years theme was "The Vikings". Most of these displays have moving lance work along with static lancework displays, including "Flying Pig", "Jack in the Box" along with many other standard items, and roman candles, cakes, single and double break rockets, shells, mines, flite rockets etc etc. Come and see for yourself it is entertaining:
