- The Bear Inn - new owners have new ducks in thier pond at back of pub. Good sized car park, great Bar menu with good wine list thats affordable. Cheery service makes it lovely to finish off saving a bread roll to feed those ducks. Nice duck house too!
- The old animal torture . . . errr sorry research bulding has been demolished and is now called Harvard Grange. A very expensive housing estate.

*Cricket on the Village green in the Summer
- Beautiful, generally friendly village with a great chippy!
- The Hoop pub which runs a fab beer fest for two weeks every May
