I am looking for my stepbrother who would be approx. 56-57 yrs old now. During WWll, 1943-44. my father Robert "Gordon" Cole was stationed at Aldershot. He was a gunnar instructor in the Canadian Armored Corps. While there he would go into London on leaves and there he met a love. Her name possibly Emma, we are not quite sure of this. We can only hope that son was told of his father and giv en him his name to know. My father had to return home to Canada when injured in the bombings. I am Michael Stock who was brought up in the village of Stock between 1934 and 1951 when my family left for Australia. My father was Commander Stock who lived in a cottage called Cosy Cot. The owners of the Bakers Arms, people called Mowles, were good friends of my family. The Newtons lived up the hill from our house. I remember Sonny Newton very well as I spent a lot of time with him in his machinery shed.
