- Lidl car park if the coppers dont move us on. This is a great place to get together and have a laugh on a Friday night. Lots of beer gets drunk down there!

- Once upon a time Kenworthy park was a good bet for laughing at young kids getting pissed on cheap cider and falling off the roundabout, ahh.....fond memories.............
- The 'dungeon' is a favourite resort for most of the more downtrodden characters of Stocksbridge. Otherwise known as 37 Chestnut this establishment specialises in beans on toast. ("I could eat em every day and niver get boored" A.Hibbert 11.8.94)
- As a town in the middle of the countryside there are many places to hang around, though many choose the simpleness of outside Willis Discount or Lateshopper.
The imaginative, however, can find a host of interesting places to hang out, including the disused railway line, Don Fields, Underbank reservoir, Parsonage Farm and many other fantastic outdoor spots.
