- Best things about Stocksbridge are the strong sense of community, Ayingerbrau, long walks on the moors in the summer (take a few beers and have a smoke up there, best views I've ever seen) Playing hide and seek in the woods behind the infant school, bilberry picking, the aqua run at the swimming baths. what can i say, its not perfect, but its home.
- The ghostly monk which haunts our bypass, scaring drivers by leaping in the back seat and hitching a ride. True.
The prodigious steel output.
