- de nero's...nice kebabs...de caprios nice pizza's but the best is lees garden chinese take away now doin delivery for the 1st time in like 30 yrs...mmmmm char siu fried rice
- Capones - get yoursen a Heart Attack Burger or a pizza with some kebab meat on top
- La Mamma has closed down and briefly became a 24hr cafe before its reincarnation as a scoop shop. We have a new restaurant though - a Chinese / Thai restaurant/buffet in what used to be the Coach & Horses. Looks nice.

Spice Valley on the main road-Buzzin food, great service, a must for anyone who likes balti and indian food!
- Good range of food. La Mama's is a great BYO with nice food, friendly staff and the famous drunken conga through the chippy!
- Top Indian quisine can be found on Manchester road at 'The Indian'.

- The one thing anyone will spot about Stocksbridge is the stupidly huge amount of take aways, balti houses and chippies. It's as if Stocksbridgians never cook their own meals! My own personal opinion is that the chippy on the Stubbin estate does the best chips in the area, but whatever your take away mood there's something for YOU!
There is also a pizza restaurant and a rather nice balti restaurant.
