- There are no clothes shops apart from Jean's Fashions (kiddies stuff, middle aged stuff), the green hut on the Manchester road (ditto). There should be at least one good clothes shop here but it seems that the locals are more willing to go into the town centre for clothes rather than support any trade in the valley which is indeed a sad thing.(remember the catalogue shop and the "boutique" in the arcade?).
