- Stockton is reducing crime within the younger people between 10 - 18 and agencies like the youth offending service do work with the young people to sort out problem.
i feel that Stockton is not all doom and gloom and there is a lot of good stuff going on and the locals in Stockton should look towards these instead of slagging Stockton off there is alot worse places to live.
life is what we make it so if you do not like stockton get off your arses and change it. don't wait for other people to come along and take you by the burbrey caps and track suits to show you the promised land

Go home - read a book you thickos. They annoy every1 when people sud be making fun of them cos the girls (slappers) will end up preg at 14 and the lads will kill them selfs by drinking and smoking themselves into an early death bed. DAMM TOWNIES!!
- just the whole friendliness of the community............ha ha ha, like anyone who lives here knows its the total opposite.
- the people and the clubs
- Parmo's....
- River, Canoe Course, Barrage, Redcar, High Street, Pacittos,
- Green Dragon Yard and Wasps Nest Yard- full of beaut georgian buildings (pub, theatre, museum) with the history of being the areas of Stockton where extreme political and religious groups and activists would hang out in secret to plot and scheme...
- I lived in Stockton for 26 and a half years. It is not the prettiest town in England, but I am very proud of my roots there. No town is perfect, people who slag where they come from should show more pride. I have lived in other towns and they have their drawbacks too.
- the tiny bits stockton council havent distroyed
- stockton is just the same as everywhere else some trouble drugs etc but its not as rife as people make out.the tees barage water idea was good and attracts people .the whole of stockton is being cleaned up and is a lot tidier and better than it was years ago. my husband returned here for a holiday after living in australia for 12yrs and was amazed at the change for the better.
- The culture, the laughs, the shops and people, the nightlife, the cheapness, the accent, the football, the schools and colleges, Durham and Teesside Universities, teesside park, the white water course, preston park, the new tesco!! the nearby marina, beaches, cleveland hills. The A19 and A66

- you can move away from it
- The fact u could go out on your own, which would be sad,and by the end of the night you would have about fifty new mates! The price of the heroin, sadly, and we have the widest highstreet in Britain! It's just a cool place to be!

- THE BEST THING ABOUT STOCKTON IS THE HIGH ST ITS LARGE AND CLEAN XMAS LIGHT ARE GOOD TO ....YARM IS A GOOD NIGHT OUT ON A TUESDAY.....BIG SINGLES NIGHT SHURE TO SCORE ....TALL TREESS IS THE BEST CLUB EVER
- The lovely people
- Local Band Lacuna, from Thornaby-on-Tees. Their songs can be heard @ www.mp3.com/lacuna
- Stockton on line free PC access for work or just browse the Internet meeting new people at a community centre near you 11 in the Stockton area.
- The atmosphere during the Riverside Festival. I live away from the town but still always return for 1 of the 2 weekends - always the business.
In the last 10 year the nightlife has died off a bit but lets face it its bound to resurrect - anyone who can remember the Mall or Walkers late 80's will know the crack regarding how good the buzz can be in the town.
When the new shopping centre opens our council should get the Castlegate centre knocked down and build 'yuppie' flats/bars/brasseries there, pedestrianise the Riverside area and attract bars shops etc down there. The Thornaby side has been redeveloped to some extent, lets see some imagination from our beloved council re the North side of the River (wishful thinking???)
The town curently feels down at heel but could be so much better, using the river as more of a focal point.
- We live in the area which is the birth of the passenger railways and also a stocktonian invented the match which are 2 great inventions we cant live without!
- I Love Stockton for it's Parmo's, cheap club entry, market and for all the wonderful people who live there!!!
- sadly the best thing here is the price of heroin, a syndicate putting out 1500 wraps a day was recently busted by the police
- the georgian theatre
- stockton people know how to party and u r guaranteed to have a good time.plenty of sexy stockton lads and lasses to choose from. stockton scallys are always up for it.
- The market on saturday sells some good stuff ,cheap fruit and veg etc.scuffy cheap shops for bargins.stacks of transport to every where .
- Friendly people
Good beer
cheep houses ( well after the slagging people have given the town what would you expect)
The ARC a great place but hardly used by the people of Stockton (only because there Shell suits clash with the paint work)But great Cocktails
- Great place to get away from.
- Twenty minutes from North York Moors, Half hour from dales, hour from Lakes
- The laff factor of seeing so many kids from Blue Hall, Hardwick, Ragworth and
