  • river side festival (once a year) is cool, the arc has some decent bands and the cyrpt just kicks ass!
  • KU Bar attracting a lot of big bands these days while still looking after the small local bands
  • The red lion in norton, the rosey club or the hardwick av bands on but i dunno how good they r!!!

  • the sun inn is good. the georgian theatre is part of the councils nepotism r us scheme even has nephew of mp on the payrole
  • The Georgian, ARC, Wobbly Goblin, Ku Bar - loads of pubs have live acts playing. Boro has places like the Town Hall and the Cornerhouse
  • The Riverside...many's the night I 'ad in there!

  • The Georgian, if you get it on a night when it isnt jam packed full of angst ridden teenagers who find comfort in being different by wearing black and lace while the other 200 wear... black and erm lace.

  • The ARC. Regarded as an artsy fartsy type venue, the Arc actually hosts some pretty good bands, such as British Ska-Punk Heroes, [spunge]

  • The Georgian Theatre in the Green Dragon Yard is the next logical step for local bands after their obligatory "legendary set" at Stockton VI Form Battle of the Bands night. Afterwards it's university and then a career in middle management for these aspiring rockstars.
