• the only real sporting facility round here is the astro turf and the cricket club. playing fields well what can i say playing fields become the chav place to be every friday and saturday night they come out in there droves with their rap and rave music and bottles of cheap strong paint stripper tasting cider and normally end up having an "unplanned" nap after drinking a litre and half of lambrini.the best place to see this is blue bridge park or the park near ragworth shops
• Not far away from stockton is a new speedway racing circuit. On the South Bank road, racing takes place on a thursday night starting late March until October. 2 Adults + 2 kids can have a great night out for less than £30.
• Splash swimming pool near bridge road and Tees barrage for kayaking and other watersports!
• Team Norton Tennis. A Junior Tennis Club based at Red House School on the Green in Norton, but open to ABSOLUTELY ANYONE. Cheap, friendly and fun. www.teamnorton.totaltennis.net
