• The people begging for money on Stockton High Street it's to annoying
• the chavs,the losers,the people who constantly beg for busfare,smack money,cigarettes etc,the overpowering stench of urine*some parts*,halloween (if you like your windows not broken better board them up on october the 30th and 31st or you will be there for the next year trying to chip away the congealed flour and egg mix thrown at your window by the local group of drunken chavs), the girls who walk round stockton with big chunky towel holder sized earrings in the latest pink addidas tracksuit and nike air max trainers with poorly dyed peroxide blonde hair complete with a ten inch thick layer of make up and a nagasaki tan

• the Castle Centre when they demolished that site of the High Street they took the life out of Stockton the best pubs went the best shops list is to long to mention and what do we have in its place 2 shopping arcades that neither can fill and now after more than 40 years Littlewoods has closed to

• The worst thing??? The whole town is appauling I moved from the south and cant believe that people live like that nowadays. The town is dead full of chavs and crime and the poverty is unbelieveable luckly I moved to Darlo. If you live in Stockton move away now except to boro or hartlepool. Demolish Tesside now.

• the drug culture in stockton has always been bad, but seems to be changing. the young are moving away from the hard drugs as they see the older group wasting there lives with smack and robbing from there families, they are going back to the blow and just chilling out. There is also a big housing problem in stockton with young people strugggleing to find flats and if they are home less at 16-18 the council have little if no housing except for B+b and these are usually full of drug users. there are places to go for young people to get support regarding housing one of them is communtity campus in brunswick street. waiting list is high but well worth the trouble.
• I'm 13 and i hate stockton like mad. I am SO gunna move out. Stokcton is a grotty disgusting s***hole which millions of ugly annoying townies and way 2 many slappers. I HATE TOWNIES!!! Go home - read a book you thickos. They annoy every1 when people sud be making fun of them cos the girls (slappers) will end up preg at 14 and the lads will kill them selfs by drinking and smoking themselves into an early death bed. DAMM TOWNIES!!

• BEWARE PET OWNERS!!! Cat thefts!! Caught 3 sick scum bags (hoods & caps, trackys tucked into socks) on bikes at about 4am on BRADBURRY ROAD stealing pet cats from the street. These sickos steal cats to train dogs for dog fights. These are the sickest scrotes around and there only kids! Spoken to RSPCA staff & they say its not uncommon. Next scrote I find will be nailed to a tree!

• full of coloured people
• ok, there are a few skagheads, but where aren't there any (I mean look at London - those southern fairies can't talk at all [or fight]). The massive industrial eyesores, but 20 years ago, 85% of men on teesside worked there. its our heritage man, ha'way.
• The Stockton attitude....they hate everyone around them....goerdies, mackams, smoggies, Yorkshire people.....what an insular town. Wh do they think they are?
• the high street, it was once one of the best, now it is just full of buses and ignorant taxi drivers who think they can break all the rules of the highway code when they feel like it.
• No alternative clubs, No music venues (Except places that have cover bands)Too much crime, Too few jobs, Too many illegal eastern European immigrants.

• its mainly townies around stockton, but just be carefull they will start on you even if u look at them in the eye!

• The police. I've never seen a more uninterested group of public servants before, apart from the benefits agency that is. Bring Ray Mallon in to Stockton and get them to do their jobs for once.
• Booze, drugs, ignorant bad-mannered peasants, shouting, tracksuits, smoky old cars, jumped up nobody's from Ingleby Barwick etc.
• Criminal scum and people with dogs
• The white shirts - the clans of Neanderthal 20's men who populate Stockton High Street of a Friday and Saturday night merely to start fights over Kebabs and taxis.
• If the world is one big home where we all live, then Europe is the bathroom, England is the toilet and Stockton is, well, one place where you don't want to stick your head.
• People who think Stockton on Tees is the worst place in the world (see previous quotes) should visit anywhere on Long Island, USA. I can tell you it's a lot shitier than Stockton or even Billingham.
• Poverty and the decline of the high street
• Poverty, Apethy and the fact that Southern England don't know people exist in these conditions on Millenium Britain.
• The ubiquitous Drugs, the ignorant people, the cold, the pollution from ICI, the no-talent politicans!
• They closed the local swimming pool. The shops are shite.

• It is close to Hartlepool and Middlesbrough.
• I used to live near Stockton and it was rubbish. It can't have changed much. If you live there, move. With the possible exception of Hartlepool, almost everywhere in Britain is better.
• AWhile Hartlepool is definitely worse than Stockton, Stockton isn't all that bad a place to be.
