Pubs
- 4 horseshoes is for you if you like rough pubs and live fights,
fleur is lively but very young oak nice food, kings is great for a business meeting but no atmosphere
- The Fleur is the BEST pub in stokie!! Lush food, cheap, outside decking, friendly atmoshphere, live football/rugby ect.. pool table.
The food is great value it tastes great and you get loadz for your money!!
Deffo best pub!!
- Four Horseshoes, Fleur de Lys, Royal Oak, Kings Arms Hotel and Mowchak has a public bar. Nightlife used to be ok here a few years back when Brian and Gary ran the Shoes, maybe we can hope for it to be rocking again?!?!?!?
- i counted four and they are quite good. the 3 horseshoes once had a bungee
jump contest thing which wz fun!
- Used to be a pub in the village which they turned into an indian restaurant. You can still go in for a drink but some how it's not the same.
- Mowchak, Fleur de Lis, Four Horseshoes, Royal Oak, Cricket Club. Wouldn't recommend the Kings Arms.
- 4 Horseshoes, Fleur de Lis, The Royal Oak
- The Royal Oak is tucked away behind the Kings Arms Hotel. Good beer and excellent food (Steak is superb). Worth checking if they are serving food beforehand!
- Stokenchurch Cricket Club - a brand new pavilion, bar's open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights. A place for a quiet drink, cheaper than the pubs.
Mowchak Indian Restaurant - not only excellent food but also has a separate bar.
Royal Oak - hidden near the church, fairly quiet, and the most expensive pub in the village.
Fleur De Lys - used to be popular with sports teams but keeps changing hands so not the pub it used to be.
Four Horsehoes - recently changed hands and cleaned up, competes with Fleur.
Kings Arms - now a restaurant bar, a bit upmarket for the average villager.
- The King Arms Hotel - Relaxed atmos. with wicker tables and palms in the bar
the Fleur De Lis - Child friendly (bouncy castle etc) Live music weekends
Indian pub - see resaurants
Four Horseshoes - Football and lorry drivers, if you like that kind of thing
Another little pub tucked round by the health centre, the name of which escapes me
