• If you're under age get down to the QUEENS its like a creche, or the back of THE HOOK AND EYE thats similar too. If you want a sixteen year old chick go to the VENNEL on a saturday night, its loaded wi' under-agers.
• Appaerntly in stoney there are over 40 drinking establishments, cant think of many,but i think the missd one out,the McMillian house,u dont know till uv tried that place!
• Pub brawls can be seen regularly in any stonehaven pub.... both male and female! Classy!!!
• The hook and eye must be the worst pub anywhere and there handy at giving you short change the thieves.
• Again the advice goes to get that train ticket into Aberdeen. Any of the bars at the harbour have some good views though on a really stormy day.
• The best time 2 go 2 pubs is when the Peterhead Aberdeen supporters bus arrives There's some nae bad pubs the best one being at American Place. Juke Box is shit hot. Even got the Doors on it!!

• Ship Inn - good atmosphere, dog-friendly, good quality menu, best vegi nosh for miles around (bangers and mash, sausage and chips etc).

• Nearly all pubs in Stoney are totally crap and the over30 men trying to sleaze on to practically pre-teen girls does not make them any better! In Stoney if you are over 16 then you are of no interest!!

• Over 12s go to the Star Over 15s go to the Queens Over 17s go to the hook Over 23 the Stoney Bar and People who are simply hiding from the grim reiper or their very own sad existence go to Gs, But everyone ends up at Omalleyes that can end up so busy on a saturday nightyou lose 1/2 a stone in sweat trying to get to the bar
• Try this pub crawl:- The Station, The County, The Heugh, The Belvedere, Stoney Bar, The Queens, Hook and Eye, The Crown, O'Malleys, Market Bar, G's, Star Inn then off to the Vennel
• Hook and Eye has a good atmosphere on Friday nights but get really busy with kiddies on Saturdays. O'malleys, the home of the famous purple, is very nicely decorated with good food, beer and staff. Stoney Bar, home of the Turin, is crap stay away from it!
• The Queens has a.....relaxed (ie empty) kinda atmosphere at all times minus 10pm onwards on a Saturday night for the people going to the illusive vennel. The Queens has the odd nice Barman though.
• Go to the Queen's
• I mis-spent my youth in the back of the Hook and Eye and must say after a recent visit I was absolutely devestated. Don't go back if you have good memories- it's dreadful.

• A few pubs but none with decent music i.e. dance or clubbing come on you dj's get some bookings in Stonehaven and liven the place up
