Arts, crafts and such
- There is a shop just down from the central clock in Stourbridge that does nlike an asian/oriental/Middle eastern theme.
- the graph. (behind the mitre, the swan etc.)
- Global images has recently closed down. But you always try Harvest moon in Victoria passage.
- ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!! Worcester Street?? elmfield craft shop in vicky passage!!!!
- hmmm.. art and craft shop that used to be Mark+Moody is now Papers and Pens in the high street, still sells loadsa art+craft stuff
- Global Images has ethnic crafts and jewellry, beads and so on.
Harvest Moon is a gorgeous little shop in Victoria passage, with semi precious stones, dream catchers, celtic influenced jewellry, art work etc. It is very good, but a nightmare if you go in there with lots of shopping bags.
Elmfield school has it's own shop in Victoria passage, where the cooking stuff shop used to be. It has aromoatherapy stuff, toys and items made at the school. They do gorgeous pottery , candles and silk scarves. It's all made locally aswell.
Art materials can be bought from Pens and Paper on the high street and a materials shop on lower high street. Stourbridge College students can get theirs direct from there ( or so I am led to believe). The college also has its own gallery featuring work by local and national artists, aswell as their own students. It is definitely worth a look.
Wollaston has a lovely craft shop opposite the bus stop, selling jewellry, ornaments and candles. My favourite.
Just out of Wollaston, opposite the factory is another little shop that sells painted canal barge pots and the like.
