Cheap Food
  • olivios, no1 pizza
  • norton fishery, the best, and sometimes you get service with a smile
  • lloyds number 1 bar does great food in the day! good prices and a wide range of foodstuffs
  • Macdonalds! Legend! Quick and cheap and great when one is drunk! Rominos Pizza is decent on a Thrs, Fri, Sat night, as is Olivios nice and cheap.
  • The add-on to the french connection bistro! student soup, 'mazin!
  • David's is the ultimate deli. the ONLY place that does sausage sandwiches, egg sandwiches, sausage and hash brown baguettes. Usually full of students cuz it's right by King Eddies. The jacket potato man up by the ryemarket is lovely. and the pasta shack, before it disappeared. the now gone Fasta Pasta was an insufficient replacement.
  • i love the crown diner. i mean it, I LOVE IT
  • mackys bit of a rip off but gud food
  • ocean city up wollescote or the queens way
  • The burger van outside the Picture House.
  • Tropical Spice provides the most entertaining Balti service in the west midlands with comedy waiters and bad decor... play the local game: how much beer can u drink before they kick u out? Also, please see comments above and remember, Dirty Dilshad's is not a desirable place to frequent. The clue's in the name....
  • McDonalds of course! 'Greggs' the bakers do the nicest hot jumbo sausage rolls for 40p.
  • WOLLASTON FISH BAR!!!!! quality grub!! Conways by mary stevens! the ruby opposite laser quest! The san woo house in wollaston and that chinese down enville street!
  • MacDonalds, Three Cooks, Greggs, Wollaston Bakery, and a couple of chippies. Indian restaurants, Chinese in Albert Street
  • Rominos pizza is fast and cheap. macdonalds, manufactured crap but still we all love it.
  • French Connection- french restaurant, pricey but worth it. Two chippies- one on the high street and one on coventry street. Mcdonalds. Pizza Express, on the hight street opposite HSBC. There are a couple of balti's on the high street, and some more on lower high street. There's a chinese in there somewhere. Harvester is on South Road, near Mary Stevens Park, there's another chippy there too.
  • Saffron House is the best for all fast food (though not that fast). Real top quality burgers and especially kebabs (real kebabs!). Very friendly from your hosts, Ben and Helen.
  • Saffron's is nice.
  • The seven stars in oldswinford. Half pub half resturant. Pub food dosn't come much better.
  • The french connection , good local company and not too many youths!!!
  • The Dilshad on Oldswinford Cross - good for a quick balti and a fight on a Friday night. Warning: You MUST be drunk to get the full experience in this place
  • Used to be the Picnic Hamper up Victoria's Passage but now closed down.
  • French restaurant, Italian restaurant, Ruby's cantonese (excellent buffet Sunday dinnertime), Jacket potato man, Harvester,
