- chicago rock cafe sucks!!!!
- yeah stourbridge is OK, picture house good if your underage!or not got a lot of money! same goes for the Rock Cafe. Toad?good on a friday! Fit barmen!from wat i can remember.Chicago!wat a load of bollocks!and the quein takes the micky!its all about Birmingham!if u want a bangin nite go brum!no silly little pretty boys tryin to get their leg over.recomend Sports Cafe as a starter!
- the picture is legendary, pure comedy!!!djs a bloody leg end, and ur guaranteed to see pat morter and little man strutting their stuff on the dance floor after a few bevies!!!das right (can i say hi 2 schmics, liz, kat and the rest of team - god loves ya!!!!)
- toad is wicked, funky house and some classic tunes (and a bit of cheese as the night draws on) lloyds is good too but there's always a huge queue, swan has been kitted out with a marquee round the back so thats good in nice weather (but its over 21's)
- Picture House is trueley the place to be on a Thursday night, If you get into a routine of going every thursday for a few weeks you'll get to know faces and it is a REAL BLAST. Try to avoid going in half term or christmas/easter time unless you plan to que for up to three hours.
- The picture house is a trendy club. Its a brilliant place to go and let your hair down with friends. Music is AMAZING! mostly dance & rnb, modern. its not expensive and closes at half 2! it is very close to the town centre and a taxi firm is in walking distance from the club.i give the pic house 10 out of 10! a really good place to go on a weekend! The vodka Moloko bar (used to be the reef bar) is a bit small and stingy, but ok as a last resort. Although music is good! some dance and rnb there. I also reccoment the Corn Exchange which is by Merry Hill, the music is very very loud and requests are accepted. music ranges from old classics to modern dance. younger adults go here, not really anyone older than 30. A large size!
- Picture house...Good in small doses! The Toad....Crap (unless ur drunk!) Chicago Rock...Only been once and to be fair the evening was not good enough to make up for queuing n the rain and freezing cold for 3 quarters of an hour!!!
- Picture house is a great place to go despite wot others may say.thursday night (student night) is most popular and saturdays are pretty good. fridays are a great night to hire for private parties. the toad is ok on a friday night but never go on a saturday if u want to avoid the pervy old men
- Whoever said all that crap about picture house is obviously a dick who doesn't know how to have a laugh. it isnt the nicest place ever but if you have lots of mates there then it really doesnt matter.
have you got anything good to say about anywhere?
get a life mate and try to learn how to have fun!
- Reef bar in lower high street is a pokey little bar and the same people go in there every week. There's two new ones been built where the chequers used to be and where the catalogue shop was. Don't know about the Toad, never been.
- hehehe I pray for the day the picture house and the reef bar loose their licenses
- the picture house if you like garage and RnB. The wine bar upstairs is a safer bet if you intend to have a conversation
- down the rock cafe just of the ring road
- Picturehouse Niteclub now re-vamped and re-opened (July 2002) 1000% improvement on the old club. Now with Restaurant and Screens Wine Bar, buzzing on a Thurs, Fri and Sat. Also there's now a bowling alley upstairs. If u wanna get into the club for free tho, make sure ur in the bowl or the wine bar by 9pm on a club nite. See ya down there!!!
- The House of Pain.....and after a few pints of warm Carling it sure is painful.
- You might think Picturehouse but no. Been closed for over a year to be turned into trendy club and bowling alley!!! After insurance job and much faffing still unfinished and unlikely to get licence. Come on we all know it was a bit naff, but that's it's beauty! Forced to go to oh so rough Reef bar instead, glorified bar underneath The Academy fitness club...urrghh!
- No proper clubs now the Picture House has sadly shut its doors for the last time. Can always get a late night drink at the Reef Bar though and it does play dance music of sorts. I think the DJ gets a little confused....
- the only one we had has been thankfully closed down!!! now we aint got one where we can go a laugh at the sad little tarts!!! :0( oh well life goes on!
- Millenium is a good night out on a friday and saturday nights. a pound 4 the ladies 2 get in and then u get 3 free drinks. the bouncers r safe unlike the ones in eclipse who BAN U 4 NO REASON (tossers). the picture house is now closed down (thank god) but it will soon b up and running again after its been refurbished. hopefully it wont b so SCABBY this time round.
- do you remember roths, tweedies or mr t's, jesters. those were the days.
- hmm.. Eclipse in Brierley Hill about 3/4 miles away, Millenium in Merry Hill, Picture House in Stourbridge.. it's a dive tho!
- Club Millenium, Level Street, Merry Hill. Thursday night is teenage night, its a fiver 2 get in but its a good laff
- Picturehouse is a converted bingo hall towards Oldswinford, mainly catering to pissed saturday nighters and college parties. Nice though.
The Shed is an alternative club toward Brierley Hill, I can't remember the raod once again........it does independent dance and DJing nighs, showcasing local talent (ahem).
- Theres something vaguely magnetic aboutthe picture house... the fact that it is the only place in walking distance for most people that still serves alcohol after 11:00... it's a bit like a festering scab, that won't go away unless you stop checking it out and picking at it, but once you have your reminded of just how ugly, horrid and smelly it actually is.
Door staff uphold their "door staff -ness" extremely well. This is not a compliment.
- The picture house, basically a big pub with a late licence, lots of scimperly dressed women, and rather irrritating music.
- The Picture House - woman with tattoos, stinking of gin and hard luck, doing the dance moves from the latest Steps video.
- Sorry, sadly lacking, the picture house is not worth a visit unless you want fighting and disease ( I doubt its hard to pull).
- lifted you poor fools?
- Picture House - good for a pint and a fight but actually quite shite.
70s nights on Thursdays used to be OK.
- The Picture House-avoid this place if you do not like blue glitter. Need to be a member.
- Picture House, for under-age teeny boppa fun
