• The local Tourist Guides are a fantastic help! Phone Bewdley TIC, and they will help you with all your Tourism needs for Stourport on Severn, Kidderminster and Bewdley. What people don't realise is that the Tourist Board only deals with accommodation venues which have been inspected and graded. The grading is your protection, as you will know what to expect from the place you are staying...and if you should have a problem, then you can complain to the the Tourist Board who will be able to action on your complaint. If the place isn't graded, then do not be surprised about what you may find! If you have cause for complaint, then you will not have the same power. Don't knock the Tourist Guides, but make sure you have an official one - not just some local effort by a company trying to sell advertising!

• A recent stay at Oakleigh Guest House was great. I was on a business trip so the free WiFi was fantastic as were the facilities for faxing copying and printing. I cannot recommend Oakleigh highly enough, it is much better than many of the hotels I have used recently. My stay was in November 2006.
• Oakleigh Guest House in York Street provide great Bed and Breakfast Accommodation at the right price
• the swan hotel, Stourport Manor Hotel, various pubs, guesthouses by the marina
