• Nobody ever famous came out of Stourport as far as I can see. But, oh Robbie Robbie Dennison (ex Wolves player) runs the trophy shop
• we hav a reputation as being the shittest town in the midlands, so we're all famous in our own right.
• Dr David Simones Jones the Civil Rights Campaigner, Socialist, writer, Broadcaster & founder of the modern Kabbalist movement came from there. Hit fame nationally in the nineties for supporting the rights of Pagans to be married in their faith. In the 1980's for supporting the rights of Romany Gypsies to have permanent sites around the country & a keen supporter of the Romany site in Sandy Lane. Campaigned in the early eighties with Pat Phoenix & Michael Foot on the Right to work marches was a active member of the West Midlands Broad Left, a group of Socialists who campaigned for socialist issues. Supported Derek Robinson during the trade union battles of the seventies, Derek twin Dennis Robinson was a close friend. Ex leader of the Wyre Forest Young Socialists. He later joined the National Union of Students where he has held many positions on the local executive & is very active in Student Politics & calls amongst his Friends Mandy Telford ( ex national president National Union of Students & is currently the chair person of the West Midlands Trubune Group.

• Anthony Green-used to be in Dexey's midnight runners. Come on ILENE!!
• Stanley Baldwin lived nearby. Top marks for presiding over the abdication crisis, bottom of the class for allowing Hitler to rearm Germany.
• Stanley Baldwin, former Prime Minister, there's probably others - don't know them though
• John Wood, he lives on Areley Kings and is one of the main drug dealers in Stourport. Ernie Loveridge, well in fact the whole Loveridge family if you upset them be careful. I have heard that he will kill anyone who messes with him, what a wanker, biggest prick of them all!
• Stanley Baldwin used to live in Stouport before he became prime minister about a billion years ago, i met a guy who was in Dexy's Midnight Runners but was kicked out 2 weeks before Come on Eileen came out for having long hair. Bing Crosby is my neighbour.

• Ex-Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin came from here.
• The town was originally started for traders of the Canals around the region. James Brindley was the man of the time, who was also the designer of the lock, so we're pretty famous really! (Hence the Brindley pub, and my inheritence...)
• Erm, Torquay United Striker/Midfielder Richard Hancox use to play for Stourport Swifts. That's about the best I can do.
