• Well, Stourport mainly houses places which provide food on a budget. There is nowhere particularly expensive. There are a few chinese takeaways, Indian takeaways, fish and chip shops and pizza places to choose from. The pubs that provide food are all reasonable in price. "Brindleys" is out of the town centre, but provides cheap, reasonable food for the family. I've never had a bad meal there, but have never been wowed either! I'd avoid the Wetherspoons by the Bridge. They lack a bit of care in cooking the food I think. "The Bird in Hand" by the canal now has it's own chef (as of late 2007) and the food has improved. They don't offer a varied selection though, and vegetarians and fussy eaters may not be happy with the choices. I like the freshly battered fish and chips though!
• The nasty fast food capital of the severn! Stourports got more Indian take-a-ways than its got pot-holes in bridge street!

• Creations restaurant offers fantastic food at affordable prices. A great romantic setting why not take your loved ones there for an evening to remember.
• Have a sit down meal in Lous Fish Bar Bridge Street
• Snappy Pizza or the Indian by it. Pats has shit chips. Louies fish bar is kool but i know him so he dont fuck up me chips.

• There is a fab new cafe opened in stourport called 'The Cakewalk'. I went there this weekend and loed it so much I just wanted to tell everyone to go visit! Charming in apperance the food is divine, in-expensive and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. They also offer a take-away picnic service for those that want to eat by the river - FABULOUS!

• MARKET CAFE IS REALLY GOOD NOW !! THEY HAVE GOT RID OF BARRY!!!!!!!!! ANN AND GIRLS DO A GREAT MEAL AND CUPPA. THE PLUM CRUMBLE IS BETTER THAN SEX!!!!
• Newtown Fish & Kebab House- great chicken tikka kebab. The turkish place down Lombard Street is good as well.

• You want it we got it but here are my favourites. Indian - tan lane Chinese - Vale road Chippy - the one by the high school or the best is the one by the viaduct in kiddy!
• A scallop bap and cone of batter bits from Louie's award-winning riverside fish saloon will set you back just 20 English pence, and if you're lucky he won't babble incomprehensible crap at you for half an hour either. But he will offer to buy your children.
• One of the things Stourport is great at is chip shops - surely this place has more chip shops per head of population than anywhere else in the country? And they are good chippies, to boot. My vote for the best of the lot goes to Pat's by the library. I can remember sitting on the canal bank, drinking cider and eating chips with some mates from Sixth Form when one of them voiced that his then fantasy (bearing in mind that we were 16 then) was to get this particular girl, strip her naked, lie her down on a polythene sheet, cover her with £40 worth of Pat's chips and dive in... Ah, the innocence of youth!

WE GOT LOUIES: LOVELY CHIPS AND QUITE A FIT BLOKE WORKS BEHIEND COUNTER!THE ONE THAT SELLS CHEAP CHIPS, WHATS IT CALLED HAPPY SOLE, A CHIP BAP FOR 50P THATS GOOD BUT GIVE BIG DAVE HIS JOB BACK FOLKS!!THEN THERES THE RENDEVOUS, ITS BEHIEND THE CAFE VERY NICE CHIPS BUT VERY SMALL CHIPPY!!THEN THERES PATS AND BRINDLEY STREET AND THE CHINCYS SELL CHIPS 2!
