  • The nearest cinema to Stourport is in Kidderminster on Green Street. It's called "Warehouse Cinema" and you will find their web address quite easily in a search engine. The cinema is owned by a local soliciter, and is actually quite professionally run for a non-chain cinema. The screens are quite small, but then so are the rooms - if you go on a quiet day it feels like your very own private cinema (in my wildest dreams!). BUT, things can go wrong there...the film has been known to burn up mid film, the speech has been out of sync with the images, and I've also known the screen to be mildly out of focus. However, it has a certain charm. It's definitely not for people who take life too seriously, but if you're chilled out and not watching a film that you're really keen on, you might enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Otherwise, go to Merry Hill (in Brierley Hill), Worcester or the cinema in Rubery.
  • there's nowhere that even sells TV now Beards has just closed.
  • the one in kidderminster is about 7 miles from stourport sumtimes have a good range of films to chose from an cheap to get in an value 4 money on eg pop .popcorn
  • We used to have a cinema, now you have to go to Worcester
  • Would i travel miles to see a film. You have to were we live.
  • hold on, whats this having to go to Merry Hell or Worcester, what about the Warehouse in Kiddy? - driveable in <10mins.
  • not yet but there are rumomours of one soon
  • rubery fucking sound it has a bar and comfortable leg room
  • The old Co-Op building used to be a cinema a long, long time ago. The first film I ever saw was when my Mum took my Sister and I to Snow White in Kidderminster. I think that was in a specialist cinema, but that's long gone now as well. When I lived in Stour, a trip to the flicks meant Worcester, Merry Hell or the odd excursion to Bridgenorth.
  • None absolouty none (Nearest place is Merry Hill or Worcester)--there used to be one.
  • WELL, LETS SEE STOURPORT- CINEMA! ER I DONT THINK SO!!U EITHER HAVE 2 WAIT TIL THE FILM CUMS OUT 2 RENT OR DRIVE UP 2 MERRY HELL 2 THE BEST PICTURES, I THINK ITS ABOUT £5 TO SEE A FILM PLUS YA BUS AND TRAIN UNLESS YA OLD ENOUGH 2 DRIVE, BUT THEN U ONLY GO 2 MERRY HELL 4 THE BOYRACIN'
  • I rarely go to the cinema - probably 'coz the nearest one is about 15 miles away!
  • choices
  • NO.No cinema. Stourport does have a static fair though that I think is worth mentioning. Have you got the balls to ride the Dragon? Yes, more than likely, but they have the dodgems which is nice. No one who actually lives in Stourport ever actually goes to the fair though I've noticed, just Brummies of the summer.Very odd. Shipley's Fair has a bowling alley as well, an arcade (lots of arcades in Stourport). Its like a seaside town without the sea. Oh yeh crazy golf in the Riverside park as well. You can hire boats, like little speed boats but its gotta be a rip off. I went on one once with my oldman. Good laugh but I was 5.
