Local Bands

• There are many good and locally well known bands in the Stourport on Severn area, but I don't know enough to comment on all of them. "Doctors Orders" are a very good rock/blues band. I saw them at the Tap House in Kidderminster, and was shocked at their professionalism! They work really well together, and had me believing I knew songs which I'd never even heard before. If you like their style of music, they're a 'go see'! I've heard good things about a band called 'Blind Lemon' who I've yet to see. They play soul and mo-town, and I am hoping to find a time and venue which will make it possible for me to see them. Both bands tend to play in the local area, but they also travel further afield - well, they've gotta earn a living!
