- The Stourport Boat Club is a great place to find live bands, and they have regular Open Mic nights. The Bird in Hand occasionally has some smaller groups who play there - mostly folk/soft rock. The nearest big venue for Music is in Kidderminster, 'The Glades Arena' and Kidderminster Town Hall occasionally has a more classical style of music on offer. There are so many places around the Stourport area that offer live music though. It's certainly worth searching the internet for more information on these venues.

- The Black Star Inn at the end of the High Street often has live music, best band i've seen there was "Jarrett Marbel" Absolutely amazing 60s and 70s tribute band, really talented.
- Lets get this straight. Once upon a time there was a lovely club called the Severns Club. All the young locals would got there and have a jolly good time! Remenisant of a school disco, it was not a nightclub but everyone knew each other. There was never any trouble as the owner was like a dad and would break up arguements before blood was shed! Then the owners retired and the severns was bought by a wanker who turned the place into the Outback (outbreak/outcack). He employed brummie gorillas as doormen and ruined the place. Now they let all the Kekkers into the place - be carefull not to trip over the hoop earings- and there are fights every week!
The moral to this is if you want to listen to music stay clear of the outcack and go to the blackstar where they have a proper landlord!!!!!
- The Black Star, The Hope & Anchor, The Boat club... There are a few really good bands in the area such as the EXCELLENT "Deja Vu" who do covers of such bands as the Stones', Neil Young, REM , U2 , Psychedelic Furs and Radiohead amongst others. Check them out, they really kick ass !!!!!!! Also anything involving the brilliant guitarist Matt Walley. All local lads !!!!!
- The vocalist Craig Lancett is no longer a karaoke singer at The Outback, he`s moved on to better things. Writing and recording as a duo with a good friend.
The projects name is being kept a secret until further notice.
