  • Ahsan Scooters on Streaham High Road (across Streatham Common park) is brilliant. Very helpful and decent service. He found me fully comp insurance (which pays up even in rather 'problematic' situations) that was half the price from what I could find as a best deal!
  • De Ver on London Rd, the best bike shop in South London, the man in this shop will sort you bike out. For a price.
  • One exceptionally large motorbike shop opposite the common
  • Action Bikes have reopened (summer 99)under a new franchisee at 13 Streatham High Rd (close to Streatham Hill station. De Ver Cycles at 630 Streatham High Rd (which is so far south it is almost in Norbury!) is long established and has many fans among serious cyclists. They sometimes have second hand bargains. Some way out of town at 261 Mitcham Lane are Edwardes who had a pretty good reputation
  • J. something Edwards on mitcham lane, Halfords next to figgs marsh.
  • Edwards, opposite Southcroft road on Mithcham lane is an old shop but the bloke is nice. But I have a Giant and I cant get it serviced anywhere Yes its person powered.
