- The bull is unpretensious, serves good food and should be visited just to see the key rings.
- loads... best is the football club although it is a little way out of the town centre, but the booze is cheap and the staff are friendly.. often entertainment on at the weekends! White Hart in town is better now.. younger people venture in there more! The Swann is expensive, stay away if you arent rich! but is good for Carnival night as its right in the town square

- The White Hart - town people, young people. The Bull - just over the bridge by the mill - small, friendly, popular with locals. The Swan - a bit more up market, but always seems less lively. The Plough at Manston (adjacent village to stur) excellent food, friendly staff, good quality beers - go there!!!...you might even see me (ask for "Pixie").
