- Nero's (CAFFE NERO) is best but extortionately expensive (regular cappucino = £2.20). Bussandra's is a more local thing and is also a bar, try that if you're cool.

- Dont go to Reggianos! I am SICK to the back teeth of everyone ranting and raving about this bloody place. Its just a COFFEE SHOP!
- Kinlochs is brilliant! My friend and I go there all the time for tea! Just really intimate - a proper little coffee shop. And a nice little garden for the summer months. Plus, there is the originally titled 'Coffee Shop' and the new one on the high street, where you can sit and watch the world go by.
- The Coffee Shop on North Street.
- baileys sandwich shop has the hottest girls/mum working there. well worth a visit, good cffee, cool place to chill with your girl or mates.
- easterns does a great fairly cheap menu in the day
- new wine/coffee bar in north street, wimpy, starburger, old english tea room. (station road)
- The street cafes are legendary...people watch to your hearts content.
