  • Ship and Star is now houses, Harlequin is now Pied Cow,
  • prince, pied cow-be aware for the nappy rash in these two!
  • For authentic pub which serves great beers, good selections of wines and excellent food go to the Waggon and Horses. Its a bit of an old mans pub,but for those older than 20, its a nice place to be and stays open fairly late. No hassle, no aggro, just rugby players and office workers. Bay Horse has a similar atmosphere - and Sports showing on TV.
  • its all about the scene in the wagon and horses. tavern too & royal oak are cool places to chill. beware of the disgrace that is the prince of wales. weak-ass fighters pub.
  • the prince attracts a fairly "fresh faced" crowd
  • Kings Head. If your a hard man who's never been out side of Hadleigh, this IS the place to go.
  • The Ship and Star formerly Sudburys oldest pub has now closed and is being turned into flats. The White Horse in North Street is favoured by us older types and has a good provincial buzz on Market days. The Bridge Inn, Sudburys only riverside pub is closed. The Prince of Wales is favoured by the younger crowd for pre Enigma drinks or car vandalism.

  • The George & Dragon Melford, the Pied Cow (used to be harlequin) is now the place to be! A great pre-club type pub! Music and drink flows nicely here!
  • most pubs in Sudbury...Kickboxers only
  • The North Street Tavern, The Maldon Grey - (Hungry Hippo Pub), if the effing bar staff can uncross their arms and make the effort to walk up to the bar and serve you!
