- The Cineworld Cinema at the new Multiplex
- Cinema World its shite ,well its alreet but ya nar!
- cineworld the one and only
- the new cineworld
- YES the ABC HAS NOW gone and has been turned into a HUGE HUGE night club which has four different night clubs inside. In replace there is a total new cinema with additional parking and fab restaurancts such as BIG LUKES AND NANDOS.
- not sure about the "there's cineworld - but you get kicked out all the time" comment - i've never been kicked out - it's a cinema at least (at last) - and if you are doing stuff to disturb my film viewing i think it's fair enough the staff eject you!
- Local cinema quite new, rli big, has all the new stuff and a few oldies 2 plus kids morning in a saturday whr they put on cartoons n stuff 2. Sumthin 4 every1 here
- boldon cinema is alright, but if you love our city centre then Cineworld is the place for you.
- The new Cineworld rather posh
- the cinema in sunderland is rubbish
- there's cineworld, but you get kicked out ALL the time. it's pretty new but i would rather go to boldon or through newcastle.
- Whey!! we actually have one now!!!! nt too bad really!!
- The "luxurious" new Cineworld. Quite pricey but at least we now have a cinema to call our own.
- CINE WORLD SUNDERLAND. Commercial Released Films **AND** NEW WORLD/ART CINEMA **Also** Old Classics on Mondays. Best All round Cinema in NE! Plus you can hire private box and have somebody serve you alcohol all the way through film.
YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- the nearest one is boldon
A new one is being built in the town centre
- The one at Boldon is rubbish - sticky floors and kids sitting on the sinks in the loo. The new one being build hopefully will be better
- Brand spanking new one opening soon
- Sunderland have started work on the 12 screen multiplex cinema which is placed in the city centre and should be done around the summer of 2004.
- closest ones Boldon, its nice, but quite far away. Depends how badly you want to see the film on whether you would go all the way there.
- I there is the local widescreen that has been round rainton a few times.theres even a record of who has bubed it off who and so on
- metrocenter
- GO " NEWCASTLE
- NO, after boldon we dont have one we are not cultured enough.
- There once was a little cinema in Sunderland, but they decided to close it and leave it to rot. Now you have to go to the UGC in Boldon or there is 2 in Newcastle town center (Warner Brothers and Odeon - I think) and one at the Metro Centre.
- the abc, the odeon, the screen 1 and 2, the royal,, the havelock. the rex silksworth, the picture house, the stoll (oh no thats in ncl)
- just sunderland bowl on newcastle road
- no sorry, ucg in boldon
- I use the UCG cinema over at bolden its class and loadsa screens there but its a bit pricey. £5.35 for a adult (15+)
- What can you say? A bit of an embarrasment but 2 multiplexes are in the pipeline.
- East Boldon is the nearest cinema now.. I heard a rumour they are building a new one in sunderland though- 'cos its quite a hike..
Theres a bowling alley near Pzazz, and Quasar in south sheilds?
- The Virgin Cinema at East Bolden is all you need. I's a bit of a trek, but it's got a bar!
- Seeing as there is the grand total of ZERO cinemas in Sunny Sunderland your better off going
to the Metrocentre, which is miles betterb than the Virgin cinema at Boldon which has bloody tiny screens!
- There are NO cinemas in Sunderland, the nearest are the UCI, Metrocentre, and the Virgin, Boldon. There are plans for a new cinema, however.
- There are NO cinemas in Sunderland. Sunderland's a disgrace to the nation really - a pseudotown with no cinemas, no KFC, no Virgin Megastore and no respect. Nearest cinema is in East Boldon - the Virgin one - and it's a cracker.
- Virgin cinemas at Boldon is the only one we've got now. It's the best one about much better than the ones in Newcastle and the Metro Centre. Get a Mega Pass it can save you loads of money.
- Go to Newcastle
- Flea Pit or the ABC, is an utter hole - full of townie twats who spend more time hitting you with bottles than watching the film.
- Boldon cinema is definately the place to go - well, its sort of Sunderland, isn't it? 12 screens and a bar ... what else can I say?
- Well Sunderland cinema is probably one too miss it has only two screens!!!!!!!!! It does get some top films though and its quite cheap. We have a bowling alley and we used to have a quaser but it closed down but the best thing is the train station as it takes you to Seaham, Newcastle and the MetroCentre!!!!!!!!!
- ABC is basic but it works. Travel out to the Virgin multiplex at Bolden for a decent deal.
