  • Are you having a laugh!? I guess the most memorable building would be the Civic Centre - why all those slanty walkways? Was it one of the first attempts of an architect to create a building with disabled access?! Christ I bet that place is fun if you are in a wheelchair - you must have to travel about three miles to get to the actual building.

  • The Empire Theatre hasnt changed in years, I would defornately reccomend this to any tourist.

  • Riverside walk, not exactly a building, but there are some great sculputres along the way, better than the horrid fountain and scaffolding in the market place.

  • East India Trading Company Building- Now the royal bank of scotland.. look up at the top of it- its amazing.. little elephants etc..
  • Old Elephant Tea rooms (now Royal bank of Scotland) corner of high st and fawcett st - you need to look up. Burdon buildings - burdon road - nice verion of a Yates wine lodge here.

  • The fire station is nicely placed because I can look out of my bedroom window and see the nice firemen.
  • The university buldings on St PEter's Campus are really something special
