- Yes people in Sunderland do skate, here are two main places in Sunderland where people skate:
1) Mowbray Park lol, the skate spot here surverly lacks, mainly due to the fact it's on a hill, aswell as there only being a funbox and a quaterpipe there.
2) Vert-X skate park on Toward Road is good, however not being a fan of indoor skateparks. I'd much rather be out on the streets skating and being chased by security guards and police men and women. There is lots of other places i know of to skate in Sunderland, if your that interested contact me Mark Weldon at millenmarkus@hotmail.com
- the skate park in hendon(its new)

- right guy said go to south shields dont bover theres a sick skate park just been

- The new park at sunderland (behind the winter gardens) is the best place for skating in sunderland town centre. It has nice windy flat paths and a little skate park which consists of a mini ramp and a fun box. This has proved a good place for all the moshers and sweatys to hang out GO THERE!
- MOWBRAY PARK - CHECK OUT THE TALENT!!!
- see above, HABIT@cycleworlduk.co.uk
- Civic centre (all of it), University library and the one next to the Royalty, Hospital, and the new skate park on Ryhope Rd (open August ish)
- Mowbray Park has a dodgy metal driveway, transition ramp and grind bar. There may be an indoor park soon...
- Never seen anyone skateboarding in sunderland apart from my friends..
The civic center looks like an interesting place to skate maybe- but its not worth your life..
- GO TO SOUTH SHIELDS
- What your roots don't provide you with the relevant skateboarding info?
- Everyone just skates all over the place
