  • Skating punk and friendly life of swansea aint any better
  • swansea is swansea with all its faults, if you dont like it then you dont belong.
  • gotta be ann summers
  • POST OFFICE,GUM & CHOCOLATE
  • just come back after living in Essex for 7 yrs, and have 2 say, after that experience, everything here is better than where i was living. Ppl here are friendlier (ok, always some exceptions), everything is cleaner, life is just better.
  • Sweltering outside a pub in mumbles with t-shirt off and pint of worthies in hand, although that's rare even in the summer.
  • Conviniently small town, easy to get around.
  • wormshead in summer house parties down hanover street
  • leaving to go to cardiff
  • a) If you're in the middle of the city and you have a car then you are only 5 minutes from 24-hr Tescos, 10-15 minutes from The Gower, which is one of the most spectacularly beautiful Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Britain and 45 minutes away from Cardiff. b) The chip shop over at Port Eynon is at least as good as the Arctic Fish Bar in Chipping Norton. c) Satori, a band that defies categorisation but are absolutely immense live. Go to www.satorimusic.co.uk if you don't believe me. Also the student scene is pretty good, the majority of people here are laid-back and easy-going and in the summer a walk along the seafront from town to the Mumbles is the perfect way to spend a pleasant afternoon with a lady-friend.
  • Not living in Swansea now.
  • the cafe !! and the square !
  • getting stoned, chilling, drinking, relaxing and the obvious
  • Joe's Ice-cream!!!!!!!!!!!
  • swanseas atmosphere and attitude of residents is always uplifting
  • Great night life, mumbles mile and of course the stunning Gower.
  • Living in Swansea, looking out the window from work and seeing the mumbles and see coming in, then looking out my window at home in Morriston and seeing the Swansea Valley go back miles. Also, the Gower around the corner from mumbles - the FIRST area in the UK to be designated 'area of outstanding natural beauty'!!! other ppl have said 'similar to cornwall but less spoiled'. Best place in the world- so stunningly natural!
  • Swansea people are incredibly friendly
  • The young slags that can be found along the Mumbles Mile
  • The sea, Worms Head, Three Cliffs Bay, Pennard Castle, Cefn Bryn, lavabread and mussels, wild ponies........open your eyes - you're in the UK's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty!
  • swansea is in wales its further away from england than cardiff we have'nt got a silly cardiff accent down here (maybe a little course). mumbles is the most desirable place to live in britain and its in swansea, pitty everyone who has ever been there wants to live there, which puts the house prices out of locals reach. cheap to live here-compared to the rest of the country(mumbles exepted) local government has tried hard to regenerate city the gower is recognised as one of the nicest places in the world, and its ours
  • Coming to Swansea to hear the lovely accent of the Swansea Jacks. Seeing the Vetch where Swansea Football Team play, and up the road The Swansea Rugby Ground.
  • I love Swansea, no matter how many times i say it's shit i'll never leave for good and while i'm here i'm gonna try and drink it dry every weekend yo, check me out!
  • The people of Swansea ( and Wales as a whole) are very friendly, down to earth people. They are brilliant!
  • The scenery on the Gower. The developing local music scene.
  • The Gower
  • The Students. The Uplands. The nightlife.
  • Mumbles Mile ; Lesuire Centre
  • Bonfire parties on the beach (phone the coastguard and promise no fireworks or flares and they leave you alone) The Gower I never thought I'd say this: the combination of the modern Castle Square with the old Castle behind it actually works! Clyne Woods. The view from the top of Kilvey Hill (radio masts above Bonymaen) Thriving Welsh-speaking communities in and (especially) around Swansea.
  • Lots of things close together (University).
  • Probably (was) the best vert ramp in Britain.
  • Lots of friendly people.
  • The rugby team.
  • The curry houses in Mumbles that stay open after club chucking out time.
  • The Environment Centre
  • There are a few locals still to be found if you take a short walk up the "HILL".
  • the music is the best thing about swansea-the talent is so high--soon the record companies all over the country will realise just how good it is and sign up every one.
