  • gus anderson
  • Paul Durden writer of Twin Town the Cult Classic Film, Govenor of Glamorgan and soon to be the first Welsh speaking black Mayor of Swansea.
  • T-bag.
  • fab busker at the side of the market young girl 18ish shes gonna be a star!!
  • The people who sing in the streets in swansea are most of the time TERRIBLE!i have only ever heard a few good singers/players!
  • HYBRID-`wicked` dance act.Criticall acclaimed, ect Rob Brydon -the comics` comic is from Port Talbot area(I been told). Everytime C.Zeta Jones is on the tele. ,someone pipes up,"I give `er one!"---If everyone I hear claim that is telling the truth, she must have been a right old bike.
  • Swansea has a lot of tramps, some of whom are quite funny when they argue with themselves. There are two tramps who live outside Spar on the way into town who argue with each other and they have a dog. Once, they got a kebab. A friend once saw a tramp sunbathing on the roundabout outside Potter's Wheel.
  • GH
  • Good old Vincent Lacey. Although currently enjoying some time at Her Majesty's pleasure...
  • Geraint, the world's most agressive security guard. When the ice-caps melt he'll go down with his Uni. Maximum annoyance results in his teeth falling out.
  • Ed, the organic veg farmer from the Mumbles. He delivers veg boxes by horse and cart around the Mumbles area, Bishopston and the west side of Swansea.
  • Mad Magret!!!!!!! Come into Newton, hang around Newton Stores, and you cant miss her!!!
  • uuummm thers tea bags my guitar playing friend!
  • The Tramp by Laser Dome. Loads of buskers everywhere.
  • THERES 1 CALLED CHARD - HE'S A FOUL MOUTHED CONVICT
  • Swansea is a fantastic city but whatever you do don't rent any houses from Bill Birla. My mates and me got shagged backwards by this guy when we were at uni but hopefully said landlord is rotting at her majesty's pleasure as we speak. A local 'character' in the same way that Jack the Ripper could be described as a 'character'. Avoid the Birlaman at all costs
  • SOME TIMES THE HORSES ESCAPE AND BALLLANCE ON THERE 5TH LEG(BUT 4 SUM REASON THEY ONLY DO IT IF U STRIP 1ST)
  • Tea Cosy Pete, or the Darvell brothers, although I think there's only one Darvell left now. If you see Wayne Darvell ask to use his mobile phone, it's funny as.
  • randon drunks with bottles of cider is about the only strret entertainment in swansea. try cardiff.
  • Just get rid of them all!!!
  • If you see Maria (formerly the frontperson for Chalk Circle) playing acoustic guitar outside Waterstones or Burger King then stop and have a listen because she has a great voice. She's also really friendly and approachable as well.
  • tea cosy pete... and those guys that started moshing outside the square ... hours of entertainment
  • i done it once and i got 9p and then some bitch came up to me and asked if i could lend her 10p..
  • A real good guitar player plays most days on the 'mobile phone street' - called that coz it's littered with mobile phone shops, it's the one where WHSmiths is on.
  • There's one guy who looks for religious preachers, and heckles them. I bought him a coat
  • winey voice hobbit by miss selfridges, nice
  • muggers in the subway drunks/down and outs top of high street-they are great entertainment when they are on form-dont get to close though they might bite!
  • Ken the dancing tramp featured in twin town, where are you ken?!!!!!
  • The pan-pipe Indian guys are quite excellent, but most of the rest are quite excruciating to listen to. A certain kind of entertainment can be got from listening to the varied ways to shout "Evening Post" none of which sound anything like it.
  • Does "Tea Cosy Pete" count as entertainment ??
  • Anything from Andean Indians amped up and selling CDs to one-man bands outside the Market and Quadrant Centre. Council funds shows in Castle Square from time to time. Worth it if it's sunny.
