• The Music Station is the biggest and best store in swansea (llansamlet). All the big acts go in there when they are in town. I go in there with my boyfriend and weezer were in there one time. I also saw Kelly Jones and one of the manics too.

• Hunter music by skin and ink tattoo parlour, has an amazing array of old second hand collectable guitars and basses. Also he stocks new instrument and accessories. There is a recording/rehearsel room in the basement.

• there was one in one of the arcades. If you had an army jacket you thought you were cool and went in and played metallica riffs till you were thrown out

• Rowlands sell second hand guitars etc- supposed to be quirte good!
• Don't go to speed unless you need screws, or spare parts (e.g. Saddles, Locking nuts, drum lugs etc.) They rip you off. Picton used to be cool, but it's gone downhill, although they still have a good collection of music books. Best one Is Hunter Music, Next to Skin'n'Ink (where i got my first tatoo!!!) Great guy owns it. Often has 8o's super strats in stock, which i pine over. I got two guitars and an effects pedal there. Also Hunter music on the Skewen main road, which has ridiculously cheap Stacks and speaker cabinets. Sorry, I'm a guitarist...

• the music station is the biggest and the best in the enterprise zone, they will get you any thing that you want-- also picton music deserve a mention because they are a good bunch too. and they will try to do you a good deal too...........
