- What is a Record
- More Music has closed the shop but continues online at www.moremusic.co.uk
Floofillers has Closed
Musiquarium is in the process of Closing
That leaves Vinylism, above Derricks, 221 Oxford Street, which specialises in Dance vinyl
- More Music has closed, you can still contact them via www.moremusic.co.uk / moremusic@btinternet.com
- ROWLANDS, THERE R 2 SHOPS ON THE SAME STREET. YOU WENT IN THE GUITAR SHOP!!!
- derricks is great, or of couse hmv
- record shop in swansea market
- HMV - the only place left in Swansea with a decent range of music.
- HMV usually works for me.
- HMV definetly it always has what your looking for and you can sample music on that computer thingy!
- Musiquarium is Swansea Market has a new owner who has redecorated the place, and has added a fabulous selection of "Real Music". It is pounds cheaper than HMV and the owner is a lot friendlier than the Guy in Derricks. Musiquarium also try to seel tickets for gigs at Face value, No rip off fees!
- HMV in swansea's town, Q .
- hmm... I'd have to say Derricks, but it isn't very cheap. Musiquariuam has a wide selection but again isn't cheap. Best bet: eBay!!
- HMV - Quadrant
- Derricks Music - http://www.derricksmusic.co.uk/
Hmv
- Derricks Music on Oxford street rules, also there's a good HMV.
- As of December 2003, More Music on St Helens Road is still going stong - really decent people and a great selection of EVERYTHING. Full of wannabe DJ's buying their vinyl at the moment, but they'll fade away again ... Long Live Rock and Roll! If you've ever been to Australia, have a chat to the dude with the strange beard, he's done some weird sh*t in aus and LOVES talking about it!
- Derecks Disks on the Kingtsway, Musiquarium in the market, HMV in the quadrant, the Rock Box is good for goths.
- H.M.V musiquariam(the market!) thats about it
- Musiquarium wherelse.
- Derricks are good, they sell gig tickets n all. HMV are way overpriced. Just wander around for a while and you'll find what you want.
- DERICKS is probably the best
- more music is definitely the best for vinyl but upstairs at hobos now sells some class records as well as the best clothes in swansea
- derriks for sure, musicquarium in the market, maybe melted records on the kingsway depends wot music ur in to.
- Derricks - specialised music store, mostly alternative stuff, really good value.
- More Music is a truly dangerous place to go into if you have money in your pocket, because you cannot leave without having found at least one record you have been looking for for five or more years...
- derricks rule's.. tonnes cjeaper than hmv.. and twisted is only upstair's
- MUSIQUARIUM HAD A BOY IN IT WHO THOUGHT HE WAS SEBASTIAN BACH..........MOREMUSIC HAD MARK ROMANO.
- Thank god Swansea now has a new decient sized HMV, only about ten years too late mind.
- Derricks records sell old singles for a quid! can't go wrong! otherwise HMV have been doing some darn good sales recently!
- Musiquarium in Swansea Market has all the cool stuff.
Derrick's Records refuses to believe that any CD could ever be faulty.
It can only be your CD player.
- Derricks, Opposite the Grand theatre. Musiquariam, swansea market. The musiquarium is like a rock tardis. Highly reccomended. I got my Dave lee Roth Greatest hits and 1984 remaster from there
- You got Rowlands wrong. They specialise in the sale of guitars amplifiers FX and accessories. They are not a record a record shop. They do sell a handful of second hand records but they are not in competition with More Music et al. It is wrong and unfair for you to bag them especially when have catagorised them incorrectly. They are actually quite excellent in their guitar stock sales and after sales service. Ask the Manics, stereofonics, gorkies etc who all have bought their stuff from there. I like them coz they are one of the few guitar shops where you are allowed to play on their guitars for hours befor you buy
- musiquariam in the market, turn right after going in the entrance by the army surplus store, a mine of many things good and a lot of bad rawk (rock for the beginners)
- Revenge Records has now shut - it's now a computer shop I think.
- HMV is quality if you want to buy records
- the only record shop in swansea that in'st part of a big chain is in swansea market, its very good but i cant remember the name but its owned by a guy named julian, hes been going for years.
- Derricks Music Shop down the road from Woollies, great shop will sell anything and get hold of most things aswell. The over priced HMV in the Quadrant, selling over priced everything, is still the best around.
- Musiquarium in Swansea Market is probably your best bet for new sounds,
with More Music for secondhand stuff. But be warned, both shops are
seriously cramped for space to browse.
- More Music, st helens av. second hand, loads of old skool hip hop and drum'n'bass
- The Musiquarium, Swansea Market. About 300 Gorky's Zygotic Mynci singles.
- Derrecks Music In Oxford Street, New Releases, ESP Dance
- More Music is (in)famous: it's in the *back* room of a second-hand shop which you have to go through to reach it.
- Musiquarian in Swansea Market.
- St. Helen's Road has three second-hand record shops; the pricey and poorly stocked Rowland's, and the excellent More Music (friendly, knowledgable service) and Revenge records (Good stock, good layout).
