- there's an awesome scate park behind the leisure centre and down by mumbles front you got some cool peeps hangin' out der!
- ermmmm ive read all of this , and mentioned has to be every spot going in swansea, but i would like to see on here , a bit more information about places, such as ......morriston, gorsienon, wynnallydd, not just the schools .
- Singleton park has some clear paths... around the uni... if you skate in town then a clart will knife you.
- The skatepark next to the old lesiure centre by Quadrant
- Blackpill mini-ramp's the boy. Get down there. Don't even think of waxing it up though, pesky rollerbladers...
For some comedy falling over check out the new toilet bowl down at the Leisure Centre. Take some cereal to fill it up, and something to pick the glass out of your hands afterwards.
- Skate Park next to Swansea Leisure Center
Castle Gardens, Swansea
- im daaan,i lve in clydach the best spots r the gap by the police station and the docters bhind spar(gr8 gaps,3set,4set also a good flatbank thing with a curb at the bottom)
- Castle Square
- Apart from all the well known spots (black pill, castle square, c.j's) theres quite a few spots in swansea people haven't heard about. Up by the ritirement home on highpool avenue, newton, there's a long, straight kerb full of wax thats stunnin to grind. Thers also an amazin place near west cross, but i'm not givin to much away about that one, it's 2 good...
- Best spots around swansea for skating are either castle of course(to newbies to swansea thats castle gardens/square!)uummmmmm lesuier center is ok but no more stuff there now nerally evry skool is good for skating loads of sets and rails the best would be olchfa or bishop gore! oh and the uni i cant forget the uni and the college always fun gettin a chase of the mush security gaurds who claim theyll brake ur decks ((haha i think not!!)) well thats about it!
- Castle Square. Lots of steps and railings and people to dodge. Fun.
- the QUADRANT is a great place to skate. A nice smooth surface and lots of old GRANNIES to annoy HA HA !!!
- three croses school .........5 set, roof about 6 foot, nice view of horses mating
three croses, coed lan.......three 3 sets a 4 set and two 6 sets with nice handrails.....oh yeh a nice wall by some batty oap's(about 120 years old, well thats wot they look like neway)
- castle square, university, cj's (mumbles), bishop gore school, grange primary school, sainsburys, back of the uci, blackpill mini, leisure ramps and the hyper value area (lots of spots around there)
- Skate park by the leisure centre
- Castle Gardens, a concrete jungle, best place to skate but u can get into trouble with the police here, so be on the lookout. Leisure Centre, currently undergoing expansion so its worth a look. Cwm du was good till it closed down last year.
- I have friends who's 13 year old kids have been arrested 10 times just for skating in the wrong place i.e. castle square, come on they're 13 for fuck sake just let them skate.
- Avoid castle square, police have been tightening up on them recently. west cross has a half pipe.
- The Back of Boots in mumbles in swansea is a good place to skate with a couople of low wall manual gaps and a couple of drops and some curbs. Also in Mumbles in swansea is Verdis car park down by knab rock, there is a sweet oille car park to car park gap and 3 steps with a boardslide wall and a ollie drop gap, its a bit like a funbox
- Cwmdu Skatepark is having a complete new makeover in july 2000 so rumours say, so keep your eyes peeled!
- small nice ramp at blackpill on mumbles road, amazing spot
- Patti Pavillion has a nice set of benches with a smooth surface lovely for getting runs yo, watch out for angry bowlers though ha ha!
- On the banks opposite the leisure centre they have now made a small park, jump boxes, two quarters rails. not bad. Out in cwmdu there is a new skete park recently been featured in sidewalk surfer, rapidly developing.
- Cymdu skatepark. Street course, mini + midi. Getting better and better. Centre of Swansea skateboarding at the moment. Soon to be re-done including proper vert ramp.
Mumbles mini- small and thin but on the sea front.
Leisure centre council funded park. Free outdoors, lit up all night. reasonalbe streeet course including roll in fun boxes rails and quarter pipe. Best after 9pm when bikes have gone home to bed.
street- wherever the wind blows you. Spots cropping up all the time. Still a few uni sesssions going down. Most people are now too lazy and just skate the parks and the ramp.
- Swansea leisure centre, yet more students.
- Down by Mumbles is now a ramp but is a bit crowded with wannabe bladers.
Do not try to near the centeral spot in town undercover pigs are around
- Castle square,
The Council dug up the grass and turned it into a concrete desert,
the only people who use it are skaters,
The council REALLY HATE that, but al least the skaters use it, you can get arrested for skating there.
- The old Castle Gardens was paved over (with much of the centre) and is now covered with skateboarders. Some people love this; others hate it!
- The new Castle Square in central Swansea is a public area, fountains, ampitheatre etc and also the best sk8 area around.
- Opposite Leisure Centre: Small set of banks (not skated very much now).
- Llansamlet Enterprise Zone is fairly good. It's got Tescos with foot high hips, manual islands, verges and bollards. Across the road in Normans there's a wall from car park to car park that is about 1" on one side and 7' on the other. We don't know what hassle means in Llansalet, especially on Sundays.
- Why not try Gaverton too? The primary school has an undercover Acid Drop and the big school has got steps, handrails (12 step) and benches. But the caretaker's house is next door.
- Lots of stuff at University: curbs, gaps to Ollie, steps, handrails and blocks. New stuff appearing all the time. New car park at hospital near University reportedly drops and gaps.
- Most of town centre has been re-tiled with smooth marble. Lots of driveway type things plus multi-storeys.
- Ramps at Morfa Stadium still there, but closed and in need of repair. Some claims of new activity (maybe new ramps or something), March 95, but in summer the council were talking about taking them down again.
- Castle Gardens is very popular: next to McDonalds.
