  • SWINDON TOWN FC!!!
  • The statue of Brunel outside Iceland in the town centre. It sometimes plays classical music, which is very strange. I walked past it at 2:30am one Saturday night, and thought I was imagening it. But walking past at 10am on a Tuesday and it was definately doing it. This is Swindon's contribution to culture!
  • it takes 5minuets to walk the width of the town
  • Its got a cool indoor growshop ...can get get kitted out and growin from these boys. Countryside around Swindon is the best around Low crime in comparison to other towns/cities this size
  • The low crime and low unemployment- a good palce to bring up kids in that respect.
  • the best things arent in swindon unfortunately you gotta go somewhere like bristol if you want a good time. swindon just needs some major investment to make things more intresting for the growing population litter in this town.
  • Magic Roundabout!
  • My wiener

  • The M4 out of swindon
  • I think the best thing in Swindon is the M4 Motorway. Legally, the fastest route out of Swindon.
  • in my support of swindon .i would say ten years ago it could have been a very classy place to live in. in ten years time but ten years later i think the best things have been lost to the planners that could have made it good
  • Anyone who is not Swindonian.
  • hip hop stunts & blunts
  • The best thing about Swindon is that I don’t live there, I live in a rocking little town a few miles north of the shit hole (Swindon) called cricklade!!!!! The only bad thing is that I have to go to the college in Swindon cleverly named Swindon College, Your friend Lee Coulton.

  • The people that are up for a laugh!!!
  • Big skies on the marlborough downs, sit peacefully and listen to skylarks. dozens of ancient monuments - hillforts, white-horse carvings on hillsides, burial chambers, stone circles. Well preserved railway village houses in town centre Good country pubs nearby Good road links Coate water and lydiard country parks Affluent but not snobby Water sports at South Cerney lakes Savernake forest
  • The wiltshire countryside, Mission nightclub and beating up little townies
  • Old Town eats and drinks.
  • I know its not buzzing like London, Bristol etc, but for a railway village that we were I think we have come a long, long way. The clubs and pubs are improving, the name shops are now coming (Disney, Warehouse, All those in the outlet village). we cannot be that sleepy or boring because everyone seems to be coming here now.

  • Surrounding countryside - Avebury, Uffington and a dozen other great spots to try and cycle/run/walk to/round/up.
  • The fact that I'm moving there in 3 months!
  • THe Magic Roundabout. THe M4 is good for escaping Swindon Its only 5 miles from the Ridgeway

  • The Magic Roundabout. You can always get through and it's great taking visitors around it the "wrong" way! Gigabyte (Gig@Byte) on Cheney Manor industrial estate is a great PC & PC parts shop. Most stuff is very cheap and they are fairly helpful. They have a good and helpful service department.
