- Duckson and Pinkers have closed down their ground floor and moved upstairs. Still an OK shop though. Very helpful.
- kempster on commersial road there is also one on fletcher street which is probably better but more professional and therefore less friendly (but good selection of drum kits, not for the likes of me to play, musos only, and nigel).
- Duck Son & Pinker, all round music specialists
- Homes music shop really sound advice! Do really good lessons for all agers!!

- duck son and pinker is the only musical instrument shop i know its kinda near the old railway museum just down the road its got a huge sign u cant miss it.

- Duck Son and Pinker opposite that new Australian bar/restaurant on the corner of Bridge Street and Farringdon Road. Holmes Music further along Farringdon Road, near the old Railway Museum. Have a look inside, it's huge! There's another one in the middle of Commercial Road. It's half hidden by all the estate agents, banks and job agencies.
- Well I Dunno man, I mean the decks I got from Resales were a bit shit man, it was like, they was 20 quid yeah? and the were like shit man, yeah
- There's a shop called Gun's n Banjos... Well no. It's called Resales. But basically it sells Knives, Swords, CDs, Guitars, Computer Games, Air Guns, Rifles, TVs... The usual combination. (The stock in this shop has never even BEEN in a van, so do not try and accuse them of getting it off the back of a lorry.)

- There are few... I'd suggest going elsewhere because the few shops in swindon aren't the best.
- A couple of decent ones. Duck, Son & Pinker and John Holmes. Decent choice though slightly overpriced.

- John Holmes Music. Worth a mention if only for the famous name connection (try searching for John Holmes if you don't recognise the name)
- John Holmes. As a spotty teenager they let me plug a £1200 guitar into a £2500 amp knowing I could't play it and had no hope of ever buying it
