Record Shops
- forget it go to meadow hall
- for the best selection of music try hmv (meadowhall + sheff) although it isnt brilliant
- err none, never has been, doubt there ever will be.
- Creative as we are in Swinton we make our own music - the average Swintonian doesn't
know how to plug in a CD player.
- Records are not understood by Swintons inhabitants. They are viewed as having 'witchcraft' in them as the sound eminates from 'nowhere'.
- there isn't really any record shops here but a lot of people copy Cd's round these part so you can always buy cheap disks and there always good quality
- none, your best bet is sheffield or at a push rotherham if ur looking for chart stuff try mexborough, DONT go there on your own!!!
- There used to be on called Swinton Sounds and Software run by Ged Henderson who I think now has the Rock Tavern pub. It has long since gone but I do remember buying a River City People cd there.
- Hmmmm, well unless you count all the blokes who copy dodgy CDs then, nope, sorry. Although you will find people into everything from Ash to acid house.
- The nearest record shop is Woolworths in dirty Mexborough.Other than that its gotta be Rotherham or Sheffield[where I'd reccomend reflex-between the peace gardens and the moor.
